Level 1 Juniors (ages 5-9) will be for focused on the basic fundamentals of golf such as Grip, Routine, Posture and more. The instruction will be educational and give the kids a great start for their golfing lives! But it will also be focused on having fun while also learning some basic golf course etiquette. Each clinic students will start on the driving range with John and then finish with either some fun Chipping and/or Putting on the practice green by the parking lot.
Level 2 Juniors (ages 10-16, Beginners and Intermediate) are for junior golfers who are either beginning with golf or have had a little bit of previous experience. Students will learn the fundamentals of golf both for the full swing, short game and putting. John will also teach kids how to properly behave at a golf course and even play golf on the course s0me weeks (when available.) Most weeks, however, will be a combination of time on the driving range working on full swing, at the short game area and on the putting green.
Level 3 Juniors (ages 12-16, Advanced) will be for juniors golfers who have had experience on the golf course and are able to shoot less than 45 for nine holes or less than 90 for 18 holes. The instruction will be more advanced and tailored to juniors who want to make their school teams and/or compete in tournaments. John will always teach the fundamentals but also will focus on advanced short game techniques, mental game, course management for tournaments and much more. Students will be on the golf course as much as possible for this clinic and even have the chance to compete in matches setup by John.
Please contact John if you are unsure what Level is best. If you wish to have private lessons instead of group click here to schedule or contact John. Thank you.
